Philips 7 watt A19 LED provides 470 lumens of energy efficient illumination (58 lm/w), which is generally equivalent to the amount of light produced by a 40 watt incandescent, or a 9 watt compact fluorescent light (CFL) bulb. The 25,000 hour life will eliminate repeated re-lamping (incandescents typically last 800 to 1,000 hours, while CFLs typically last 6,000 to 10,000 hours). This high efficacy LED light contains no mercury, emits virtually no UV/IR light, will not fade colors, and will provide an even, diffuse light source. It is dimmable down to 10% of full light level. This lamp is considered omnidirectional, in that the light will be projected in all directions.
