Tyz-All Plastic Interior Storms
This Tyz-All Plastic Interior Storm is a low-cost way to reduce air leaks around windows. Each storm consists of a plastic spline and channel system that create an energy efficient seal in front of the window. To install, simply attach the white plastic adhesive channels around the frame of the window, then spread the 4 mil clear vinyl across the face of the window and hold in place by locking the thin plastic spline (strip) into the channel. If well maintained, the clear vinyl can be reused year after year. Spline and channels may be cut to size with a utility knife and clear vinyl may be trimmed with scissors.
