This Leviton 1" Socket Extender allows you to use compact fluorescent lamps (CFLs) in sockets they otherwise would not fit in. Simply screw the socket extender into the existing socket and screw the light bulb into the socket extender, essentially moving the bulb away from the original socket by 1". Useful for deep recessed cans, table lamps with harps and more.
