A. Hamid Andalib founded EnergyEarth in April 2011. Driven by a desire to achieve significance beyond success, he has combined the incentive and sustainability industries in a unique way to help global enterprises and their customers save money while also conserving the Earth’s natural resources. EnergyEarth’s solutions combine an innovative ecommerce site, offering unmatched selection and pricing on products that provide increased comfort while reducing energy use, with traditional incentive methods, such as gift cards and prepaid cards, to assist corporations and utilities most effectively acquire, retain and reward their customers.  All while helping customers and partners alike achieve their environmental, energy efficiency and sustainability goals.

At the age of 17, Hamid immigrated to America, and by the age of 24, he not only completed two degrees but also purchased The Loft, the largest restaurant in Tennessee at that time. While managing the restaurant, Hamid made the Loft the first restaurant in the world with its own co-branded MasterCard. Due to its success, Hamid assisted other nationwide companies in launching their own co-branded cards.

In 2000, Hamid’s experience with the credit card business, coupled with his growing interest in the incentive industry, led him to create VIPGift, a revolutionary global gift-giving solution offering reward, incentive and rebate programs to Fortune 500 companies, specializing in customer acquisition, retention, loyalty and employee incentive programs. Considered one of the fastest growing companies in America, VIPGift sales quickly grew to $120 million prior to his successful exit and sale of the company in 2008.

Hamid’s civic and community activities and business accomplishments have earned him numerous awards and honors, including induction into the College of Business Administration Entrepreneurship Hall of Fame at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, the Blue Chip Enterprise Award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and Nation’s Business Magazine and the Atlanta and Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce Small Business Person of the Year Awards.

Hamid has served on the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors, BellSouth/AT&T Customer Advisory Board, T.C. Thompson Children’s Hospital foundation Board of Trustees, HCA/Parkridge Health Systems Board of Governors, National Association of Partners in Education Advisory Board and was appointed by Tennessee’s governor to serve on the first Workforce Development Board.   Hamid earned an Associate of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Georgia Tech/Atlanta College, a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and studied banking at Vanderbilt University. 

Hamid currently serves as a strategic advisor and venture investor to numerous Silicon Valley tech companies and extends his entrepreneurial expertise to educational institutions, companies and individuals.  He and his wife, Homa, enjoy extensive traveling and spending time with their five children.

Hamid has been the focus of several articles and asked to be the keynote speaker for many large corporations.
